NPF is a microfinance bank based in Obalende Lagos. It is the first microfinance bank to be listed on the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
NPF Microfinance Bank Plc(Formerly NPF Community Bank Ltd) was incorporated on the 19th May,1993 as a Limited Liability company.
The bank’s authorized capital at inception was N500,000.00 made up of 500,000 ordinary shares of N1.00 each and has over the years increased to its current level of N2,000,000,000.00 made up of 2,000,000,000.00 ordinary shares of N1.00 each of which N417,192,203 made up 417,192,203 ordinary shares of N1.00 each are issued and fully paid up. The balance sheet size of the bank is over N5billion as at 31st Decmber, 2007 which makes the bank a state microfinance Bank granted by the Apex Bank on the 4th December, 2007.
The Bank offer for subscription 338,812,797 ordinary shares of N1.00 each at N3.00per share an Right Issue of 417,192,203 ordinary share of N1.00 each at N2.50k per share which was fully paid .
