Aiico Insurance PLC offers life and non-life insurance products in Nigeria. The Company also provides advice and financial services. The Company is also a holding company.

AIICO General specialises in the provision of tailored insurance products that aim to offer both corporate and individual clients comprehensive protection against potential losses, damages and liability claims. For individual clients, AIICO’s General Insurance products are intended to offer reassurance and protective cover against the unpredictable nature of daily life. For example, we have products to protect your family home, your money, your valuable possessions, vehicles, and so on, against a wide variety of risks and special perils. In addition, we offer fully inclusive travel insurance to individuals, groups and companies alike.
AIICO is the largest and most established life insurance company in Nigeria. In part, this is as a result of our unrivalled agency network, which enables us to offer protection and stability to both corporate and individual clients across the country.
AIICO offers a wide range of life products in order to cater to the changing needs of our clients. In summary, our products range from the fulfillment of statutory corporate insurance requirements, through to highly tailored solutions that link comprehensive life insurance to stable investment options, education plans, annuity plans, and so on.
In 2007, following recapitalization of Insurance Industry in Nigeria, as per Government directive, two Insurance Companies namely "NFI Insurance Company PLC and Lamda Insurance Company Ltd" merged with Aiico Insurance Plc.
