Sep 4 (Lagos) - India's government has carried out some major tax reforms in its GST tax system which was implemented by the same government in its pervious term.
Most household items will see tax slashed to 5% from 18%.
While basic food items such as milk, cheese, butter will now by tax-exempt.
Also taxes on tobacco and cigarettes have been raised to 40%.
The move has been met with joy from citizens of the Country who are hailing PM Modi as the savior of the middle class and economically backward people.
Do not expect western media to highlight this news because it does not serve their agenda to portray India in a negative light. Rather expect some weird news on harassment of minorities and illegal immigrants from Bangladesh. When Modi gets elected for the 4th term in 2029 - this will be just one of the reasons why he is so loved all over India by its people. Western media can read and weep.
