Jan 19 (Lagos) - The portrait of 47th President of the United States of America is sure to send chills down the spines of opponents both home and abroad. President is not smiling. It is a hard stern look in to the back of the camera lens. A very different portrait from what was clicked in January 2017 when President Trump was elected for the first time.
President Trump has already made his agenda clear throughout the election phases. A large scale deportation of illegal immigrants is coming up. A crackdown on criminal gangs that have taken over most US cities especially Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, New York and Seattle.
The portrait will strike fear of coming tariffs against Countries that have taken allegedly advantage of the US in trade practices. Even leaders' of friendly nations like Canada and the UK will shiver looking at that photo and what is coming for them in terms of trade. Such nations have deviated from their democratic ideals and rule of law in a big way and President and his team seem to be willing to use tariffs to punish them till they re-align with western ideals and restore free speech in their Countries.
The portrait also sends a message to all the Palestinian terrorist sympathizers who have been holding rallies all over US cities disturbing the peace and tranquility of a beautiful Country. This could mark the end of those rallies.
It also sends a message to all the adversaries on the International front, that the order has changed in the USA, and support for unending wars in other parts of the world could be coming to an end.
Lastly the portrait would send chills down the spines of all those domestic actors that pursued a deeply personal and motivated agenda against President Trump for the last 3-4 years.
Monday, President Trump will officially take Oath and we can be sure that no time will be wasted in getting to work.
Tuesday will be the first day that the stock markets will get to react to this new world order and it will be interesting to watch which was we go from here. There will be tough days ahead, make sure you make your moves very carefully. Nothing is off the table and no one is safe.
