On the Bid Cart: UCAP closed the day amongst the top gainers, rising 10.00% to close fully bidded at N2.20. The positive intra-day movement is majorly due to bargain hunting in the counter which had lost over 40.00% of its value in the last two weeks (from N3.54 to N2.00) as a result of the massive sell pressure at the local bourse. The counter's YTD performance however moderated to -8.33% (vs -16.67% recorded on Friday).        

On the Offer Cart: TRANSCORP closed today's session with the highest decline of 10.00% to close the day at N0.63. TRANSCORP just like other stocks at the local bourse, has been significantly sold down in the last three weeks, dropping to its five year low price today while trading at a discount of 85.58% to its 5 year high price of N3.42.
