Banking Bulls start the generator in the gloomy market.   
26 July 2018 ( Lagos ).: After two days of negative trading, the Nigerian Bourse enjoyed a victorious day, after gaining 0.22% today. The banking segment led the gainers with all its first and second tier stock flaring up today. ( ZENITHBANK ) rose by 1.94%, ( GUARANTY ) increased by 0.52%, ( FBNH ) went up by 2.66% and ( UBA ) surged by 1.58%. 

Even the Oil and gas sector enjoyed a bullish day with upticks in ( OANDO ) by 1.04%, thanks to the oil rally; and ( CAPOIL ) by 8.7%, these increases outweighed the dip in ( JAPAULOIL ) by 7.14%.

The consumer goods segment however, witnessed mixed sentiments., slightly tilting towards negative. While, ( NESTLE ) went up by 3.52%, ( HONYFLOUR ) flared up by 9.88% and ( NASCON ) gained 2.5%. ( NB ) declined by 0.48%, ( FLOURMILL ) shed 5.23%, ( DANGFLOUR ) lost 5.17%, ( INTBREW ) went down by 5.33% and ( DANGSUGAR ) also lost 3.23%. 

Lastly in the industrial goods sector, market giant ( DANGCEM ) lost 0.43% while ( CCNN ) gained 8.78%.

With the H1'18 results rolling in, we expect that investors will make smarter investments better judgements and the sell-off pressure might cool down, and with an RSI of about 30 points, the market is expected to bounce back.
