Equity Market finally recovers after spending 3 days in the ICU   
29 July 2018( Lagos) : The Nigerian Bourse goes green as market hulk ( DANGCEM ) upbeats by 1.78% coupled with the bullish market sentiments caused by upticks in the bellwether stocks in major sectors. Consequently, NSEASI rose by 1.44%. 

Drilling down to individual sectors, the banking sector's investors enjoyed a merry day with upticks in blue chip stocks like ( ZENITHBANK ) by 0.4%, ( STERLNBANK ) by 0.72%, ( GUARANTY ) by 1.12% and ( STANBIC ) by 4%. The sector also observed some advances in ( DIAMONDBNK ) by 4.38% , ( WEMABANK ) by 4.29%, ( UNITYBNK ) by 4.3%, ( FIDELITYBK ) by 0.88% and ( ACCESS ) by 0.49%. These advances royally overweighed the dips in ( UBA ) of 0.47%, ( UBN ) of 0.81% and ( FCMB ) of 4.8% and ( SKYEBANK ) of 4.17%

The Consumer goods industry followed a similar pattern where giants with high market capitalization observed upsurges, like ( NESTLE ) rose by 4.92%,( NB ) by 2.88%, ( GUINNESS ) by 0.72% and ( INTBREW ) by 3.29%, these advances beat the declines in ( FLOURMILL ) and ( HONYFLOUR ) of 0.62% and 4.98% respectively.

Recovering from yesterday's losses the oil and gas sector also saw some applaud worthy closings, as ( TOTAL ) rose by 4.74%, ( ETERNA ) jumped up 4.99%, ( OKOMUOIL ) increased 2.22% on its price, and ( MOBIL ) grew by 1.1%. There were some sinking as well, as ( OANDO ),(JAPAULOIL ) and ( FO ) got exploited by bears after they plummeted by 1.54%, 2.7% and 3.52% respectively. 

Lastly, ( CCNN ) supported the industrial goods sector by rising 2.13%, and along with ( DANGCEM ) they defeated the dip in ( WAPCO ) of 2.5%, after its French parent company was put under spotlight following allegations of the company funding terrorist groups. 

This market positivty is sure to give the investors a happy weekend.
