March 26 (Lagos) - United Bank for Africa Plc (
UBA ) proposed final dividend of 65 Kobo per unit for 2017 which is up from 55 Kobo per unit the bank paid in previous year.
On Friday,
UBA released its FY’17 results with top and bottom line up 20% to N 462 billion and 9% to N 79 billion.
The stock is in heavy demand this morning as a result of that dividend announcement. It is up 40 Kobo to N 11.90 per unit at the time of writing this article.
