March 14 (Lagos) - Annual inflation for February 2018, released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, shows inflation continued its downward trend for the 2nd month of 2018, marking the 13th consecutive month of disinflation.
Headline Inflation declined to 14.33% y/y (0.8% lower than 15.13% y/y in January 2018)
The food sub-index dropped by 17.59% y/y from 18.92% y/y in January, while the All items less farm produce sub-index dropped by 11.7% y/y from 12.10% y/y in January.
