Feb 5 (Lagos) - The Central Bank of Nigeria has announced a slew of measures meant to tackle the unending free fall of the Naira since the currency was floated last year.
While we post the updates which are released in the form of circulars on the CBN website, and digest the meaning of such measures, we would like to extend our best wishes to the CBN Governor and pray that God helps him to arrest this Naira decline.
The defense of the Naira is critical for a stable economy and any hope of reigning in runaway inflation that we have witnessed in the past 8 years.
