July 4 (Lagos) - There was buzz regarding the takeover of Manchester United plc as shareholders and fans were excited by rumors' of an imminent deal.
The sale process has stretched for more than half a year now. The club was purchased by the Glazer family in 2005 amid resistance by the fans. In recent times fans have become more vocal about how the club has been run for more than a decade.
There are two public bidders in the process with Qatar based bid rumored to be in the best position.
