On the Bid Cart: The Bulls once again dominated the trading session, with buying interest recorded across sectors. Following the renewed interest, mid/large cap stocks such as; NB (+10.00%), STANBIC (+998bps), ACCESS (+970bps), FBNH (+962bps), GUINNESS (+817bps), ETI (+804bps), UBA (+588bps), ZENITHBANK (+560bps), GUARANTY (+463bps) and DANGCEM (+246bps) closed the day north.        

On the Offer Cart: Despite the buying interest that dominated the trading session today, where a number of mid/large cap stocks moved higher, ARDOVA PLC closed as the worst performing stock for the day, shedding 10.00% to close at its intra-day low price of ?14.40. The negative performance resulted from profit taking on the counter which gained over 60.00% in the last three weeks. As a result of today's decline, its YTD performance worsened to -20.00% as against the -11.11% posted on Friday.
