On the Bid Cart: Investors' continued to take advantage of low pricing at the local bourse as gains in large cap stocks such as NB (+576bps), DANGCEM (+431bps), NESTLE (+256bps) and BUACEMENT (+157bps) led the ASI to a positive close.  

On the Offer Cart: The Banking sector emerged as the lone decliner in today session, down by 1.98% worsening its YTD performance to -20.50%. The negative performance resulted from profit taking in all Tier 1 banking stocks due to gains made in the last few sessions as FBNH (-408bps), ZENITHBANK (-380bps), ACCESS (-305bps), GUARANTY (-196bps) and UBA (-159bps) all closed in the red.
