Stocks to Watch

30 March 2020

On the Bid Cart: 11 PLC (formally known as MOBIL PLC) trailed BERGER (+984bps) as the second best performing stock, gaining 983bps to close the day at N160.90. The positive performance recorded today can be linked to the recent announcement that the company has filed for a voluntarily delisting of its shares from the local bourse. The closing price recorded today, represents the counter's year high price, while increasing its YTD performance to +8.79%.

On the Offer Cart: The second most capitalized stock (MTNN) topped the laggards table in today's session, down 10.00% to close at its intra-day low price of N90.00. In less than ten sessions after its debut at the domestic market (on the 15th of May 2019), the telecommunication giant peaked N159.30 (over 70.00% above its listing price of N90.00). However, due to the headwind that has hit the local bourse since then, the counter has lost all of its initial gains, and currently trades 17.43% below its year opening price of N110.00.
