AIRTEL AFRICA reports Q1 results   


July 26 (Lagos) - Airtel Africa Plc ( AIRTELAFRI ) reported its first quarter results for 3 months ended June 30 2019. Earnings per share of 2 cents declined sharply as a result of huge increase in shares outstanding. 


East Africa region showed very strong growth in revenue followed by Nigeria. 


In its Q1 report, Airtel Africa explained the increase in shares outstanding after the IPO listing in London and Lagos. 




  • Shares of AIRTELAFRI currently trade at N 323.5 per unit at the Nigerian Stock Exchange in Lagos. Shares of sold off after the IPO listing price of 363.
