ASI boasts of a hat-trick: Big Bulls pulled out the big guns.   


12 April 2019: NSEASI observed a third consecutive day of positive close this week, resulting in the YTD dropping down to -5.95%. The market sentiment was predominantly bullish with all the sectors closing strongly higher.


Market Giant ( DANGCEM ) closed 1.61% higher. In the Oil and gas sector, ( MOBIL ) was the largest gainer, rising by 4.04%, followed by ( ETERNA ) and ( OANDO ) which rose by 2.5% and 1.03% respectively.


The consumer goods sector's gains were buoyed by ( UNILEVER ) which closed 2.94% higher, the 5% gain in ( DANGFLOUR ), ( DANGSUGAR ) went up by 1.11%, ( NESTLE ) rose by 0.41%, ( FLOURMILL ) and ( HONYFLOUR ) observed an increase of 1.51% and 3.48% in their respective share prices.


Last but not the least, in the banking sector, the bellwether stock ( GUARANTY ) rose by 2.34%, ( UBA ) gained 0.78% and ( ETI )'s share price increased by 0.94%. On the other hand ( ACCESS ) and ( FBNH ) declined by 0.83% and -3.85% respectively.
