Fidelity Bank assures of quality services as 13 customers win N16 million   
 Jan 16 (Lagos) -(FIDELITYBK) plc said it would ensure that its customers get quality service in 2019 as it gave out N16 million to 13 customers in the first draw of the year and the third in the Get Alert in Millions promotion (GAIM) season three.


Speaking at the draw held in Lagos yesterday, Fidelity’s executive director, Shared Services, Mrs. Chijioke Ugochukwu, said the bank was poised to ensure that its customers enjoy the best of banking services at their convenience.


She noted that the bank in furtherance with Fidelity Bank’s drive to promote financial inclusion through technology, would be launching a new platform for people to easily open accounts in addition to the QR, USSD and online account opening platforms. She noted that this would enable more Nigerians participate in the ongoing third season of the GAIM promo.


“We also have so far given out airtime to the tune of N2.671 million, with the amount on the rise every week, as we give N1000 worth recharge cards weekly to first 100 customers to sign up a savings account with us, and so far, credited 1,964 new customers with N1000 airtime each.


“We still have N60 million to give out in subsequent draws up till the end of the promo, later as the year goes by, and we also have several consolation prices to as well give out,” she stated.


At the draw held yesterday, 13 customers from six zones, Lagos, Abuja, north, south-south, south-east and south-west emerging millionaires and another 18 winning consolation prizes of television sets, refrigerator and generator sets.

Steven Oriase, Kareem Amodu, Evangelina Moughalu, Raphael Omoijate, Ogechukwu Mike, Musa Abubakar, Onwuharaonge Kingsley, Blessing Uwadiegwu, Ukamaka Joy, and Nwankwo Onyeka, all won N1 million each, while Umaru Gagi, Abdulrahman Olanrewaju, and Chioma Patience won N2 million apiece.

Ugochukwu, appreciating all the stakeholders of the bank including the customers, for their contributions in the success story of the bank so far, encouraged them not to relent on their supports.


Speaking more on the QR code system, the acting chief technology officer of the bank, Mr. Chris Nnakwe said, “The QR system is the first of its kind in the banking sector. Being a technological driven organisation, we are the first bank to develop this. It saves you the stress of going to the bank and saves your data.


“All you need to do is to just pick-up any of our promo material, where you will find our QR account opening barcode; ensure your phone has QR scanning App installed, and just place your device on the promo material to scan. It will bring out our account opening forms, and in less than five minutes, you are done filling it and submitting.”
