ASI's wild rollercoaster ride is scaring the living daylight out of the investors   

26 September 2018 :Looks like the NSEASI is on a wild rollercoaster ride, where it steeply rises and then suddenly falls down the next day. Despite the positive close yesterday, fueled by bargain hunting of the bellwether stocks; ASI is down by 0.46% today. This decline is mainly donated by the Industrial goods sector : the 2.38% fall in ( DANGCEM ) to be precise. ( CCNN ) also shed 0.84% in the same sector.


In the Banking sector, the bulls were quite dominant with advances in ( ZENITHBANK ) by 4.65%, ( GUARANTY ) by 1.35% and ( UBN ) by 3.92%. The advances strongly countered the declines in ( STANBIC ) by 1.59% and ( FBNH ) by 2.84%.


The consumer goods sector also led laggards today fueled by declines in ( NASCON ) by 3.06%, ( NB ) by 0.11% and ( FLOURMILL ) by 1.75% which overshadowed the uptick in ( DANGFLOUR ) by 1.39%


Lastly, in the oil and gas sector, while ( TOTAL ) rose by 0.61% and ( ETERNA ) gained 0.83%, ( OANDO ) lost 0.95%.
