19 September 2018 :You must be wondering, that the network provider in your country is over-charging you for your mobile data and unless you live in Equatorial Guinea, consider yourself extremely lucky. In a report by the EcoBank research, a research arm of the Pan-African Bank, the cost of 1GB in Africa can cost as low as $ 2.08 ( in Mozambique ) or as high as a whopping $ 35.47 ( in Equatorial Guinea )
Of course, the number of mobile network operators (MNOs) in a country plays a big role as countries with higher MNOs often meant that data was relatively cheaper than in countries with less number of MNOs.
