July 23 (Lagos) - Annual inflation for June 2018, released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, shows inflation continued its downward trend for the 6th month of 2018, marking the 17th consecutive month of disinflation.
Headline Inflation declined to 11.23% y/y (0.37% lower than 11.61% y/y in May 2018)
The food sub-index dropped by 12.98% y/y from 13.45% y/y in May, while the All items less farm produce sub-index dropped by 10.40% y/y from 10.70% y/y in May.
