April 12 (Lagos) - Annual inflation for March 2018, released by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, shows inflation continued its downward trend for the 3rd month of 2018, marking the 14th consecutive month of disinflation.
Headline Inflation declined to 13.34% y/y (0.99% lower than 14.33% y/y in February 2018)
The food sub-index dropped by 16.08% y/y from 17.59% y/y in February, while the All items less farm produce sub-index dropped by 11.20% y/y from 11.70% y/y in February.
