NSE down sharply as crude oil prices fall 2%

Nov 14 (Lagos) - Crude Oil prices declined more than 2% on London's ICE futures and New York's NYMEX today after the International Energy Agency ( IEA ) cut forecast of global demand.

That was enough to send the All Share Index of Nigerian Stock Exchange down by almost 1% today.

The report by IEA cut daily forecast of crude by 100,000 barrels for 2017 and 2018.

The report by IEA is in contrast to report by OPEC which forecast an increased demand for 2018.

Stocks that fell most in Lagos today were CAVERTON , CILEASING , UNILEVER , LEARNAFRICA & ETERNA
